What is Quarter Life Catholic (QLC)?

  • A website with some of my thoughts and reflections on life, meaning, and the human experience
  • Many of my posts are focused on songs, particularly those with powerful lyrics, as well as books; I’ve also included some of my favorite music/videos/quotes/books

Why is called Quarter Life Catholic (QLC)?

Who is QLC for?

  • Everyone is welcome regardless of background or stage in your journey
  • Those striving to make the most of life and explore ideas on how to find meaning and purpose will likely resonate with the content 

What am I expecting from this?

  • My hope is that anyone who comes across this finds something thought-provoking, enjoyable, interesting, or encouraging
  • That said, I’ve learned that going into things without expectations often yields the best result 

quick Bio

If you don’t already know me personally, hope this serves as a brief intro:

  • I currently live in NC and have lived in several other places (PA, DC, NY, OH)
  • My background isn’t in theology or philosophy, but rather in finance and computer science
  • I live by the 3 F’s (faith, family, friends) and jokingly include the 3 C’s (Chick-fil-A, Costco, Catholic gift shops)
  • Gratitude and finding joy in the little things are key to my outlook on life
  • I’m a people-loving introvert and a realistic optimist with a growth mindset
  • Two of my life goals include visiting all 50 states (currently at 39) and walking the whole Camino de Santiago

Life has been an incredible journey and I’m always grateful for the amazing people, opportunities, and experiences that God has and continues to allow to cross my path.
